I LOVE WEST LEEDS FESTIVAL DAY COMPLETELY FREE!

Armley Mills Industrial Museum - Sunday 6 July 12-5pm

The I Love West Leeds Festival big event!

Armley Mills will be transformed with fantastic shows, music, artists, face painters and loads of stuff to do, all for free! Join us for an afternoon of the delightful and the ridiculous including flat cap decorating workshops and lots and lots of Y-fronts! Highlights include:

FREE WHALLEY RANGE ALLSTARS PRESENT - PIG! A 30 feet long inflatable pig invites you to peek through her teats at the story inside. A magical 10 minute show that has toured the world making little piglets out of everyone.
FREE ARMLEY - THE MUSICAL A once-only opportunity to see an all-singing tale of love, laughter and property development set against the backdrop of a mill, a jail and a library - oh, and a moor with horses on it. Written by Armley's own Boff Whalley and directed by Alan Lane and Justin Audibert.

FREE WACKY WALKABOUT CHARACTERS Hodman Dodman and Sally Forth are firm favourites from last year - look out for this elderly couple of miniature proportions. The Fairly Fresh Fish Company will try to convince you to sample their cockles and muscles. And Alter Ego will take you on a tour of the museum - ask questions but don't believe everything they tell you!

FREE SHEDOPOLIS Explore 15 quirky garden sheds which have been given a make-over by artists. Look out for the Jackanory Shed, the Boatman's Shed and check in for a mini-break at the Hotel Shed.

FREE BRIEF ENCOUNTERS An eye-popping display of 2,500 pairs of underpants colourfully decorated by West Leeds residents. Come along and customise a pair yourself on the day with the lovely ladies from Scrap.

And lots lots more… this is no ordinary trip to the museum!
